THE GENIUS

The sheer mental muscles,

developed and perfected

over hours, days, months, years

of using one’s brain…

A brain that knows no

barriers, has broken them

long long ago…

An ability to go towards

perfection – sheer perfection –

anything that one touches.

Miraculous hands!

Miraculous eyes!

                                                                  Miraculous brain!

Completely childlike, serene,

Serious, joyous, reveling in

laughter because it cannot

conceive of pain, passivity,

slackness.

An extreme independence,

unsocial, innocent, pure,

wants only to be left alone.

Extreme emotions because

life is taken seriously too

seriously whether it is

anger, joy, love.

Passionate – a mind never still,

never resting, insomniac,

thinks in dreams too,

filling every moment

with leaps of imagination.

Too much work done,

unbelievable, wondrous,

unimaginable.

Effort taken to the

extreme limits.

A nobility that is too

Much, everything too much

and too good and too true!

Yet at the end things made

simple, obvious, clear,

As if it is flowing naturally

and no effort is there!

That is the miracle!

That is genius!
